Importantly, Sensei has real experience of street fighting, so has the knowledge of what works and doesn’t on the streets. Over his career, he has founded and instructed at number of clubs in England, Africa and Japan. A number of his students have attained black belts and gone on to run clubs of their own. Having trained for three years in Japan, Sensei incorporates his in-depth knowledge of the culture and fluency of the language into Bushin. A former British and European champion, he also won the highest award outside of Japan for 16 years. Not complacent with his own skill and standard, he continues to train in JKD & Kali, BJJ, Wing Chun, Thai Boxing and Boxing.
Leading by example, Sensei’s approach is simple and effective:
Forget your ego and work hard. With the right motivation and teaching, you will develop quickly and be the best you can be!…Let’s get to work!
